PERMANENT ACCOUNT DELETION
Hosts can start permanent account deletion directly inside Shutter36. These instructions also explain what is removed, what may be retained, and how to get help if you cannot access the app.
Sign in with the Google account used for Shutter36. From the home screen, open “Account & privacy”, choose “Delete my account”, type DELETE, and confirm permanent deletion.
The request immediately disables your event links and starts permanent removal of your host profile, event settings, guest-session links, private event photos, and generated album exports. Very large albums may take up to 24 hours to finish.
Download every photo you want to keep. Account and photo deletion cannot be undone, expired links cannot be restored, and guests will no longer be able to enter your events or albums.
Payment, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, safety, and legal records may be kept only where required. Where feasible, retained records are detached from the deleted account and are not used to reopen it.
Email us from the Google address used for the host account with the subject “Shutter36 account deletion request”. Include an event code if available. We may verify ownership before processing the request and aim to respond within one business day.
